Food for Koalas

Updated: Oct 11, 2022

I mean can you imagine the site of one of these adorable creatures just enjoying some delicious eucalyptus?

Be still my heart.
Koala in a tree with eucalyptus and eucalyptus essential oil
Ummm...where can I get one?

Eucalyptus is most commonly found in Australia, where it's a favorite food of koalas! However, Eucalyptus is also found in Spain, China, and even the U.S. Eucalyptus is not a good choice for human consumption so please don't embrace your inner koala and go munching on some greenery. #Eucalyuptusforthewin

The essential oil of Eucalyptus is made by steam-distilling the oil of the leaves. Eucalyptus Radiata is very soothing for the muscles and respiratory systems. It can be a helpful oil to use for support during that "time of the month" to soothe cramps. Tired? Eucalyptus ethers are a wonderful way to address any mental fatigue that may exist for you.

Eucalyptus and Floral Arrangements and Pasithea's Garden
Pasithea's Garden loves a little moody photo. This is a whole vibe.

Eucalyptus has a fresh, clean, green scent and is a common essential oil used in spas. Diffused with peppermint, Eucalyptus can provide an invigorating powerhouse for the afternoon slumps and bumps along the road.

Dried Eucalyptus leaves and branches are beautiful in floral arrangements. In fact, you will probably find it hanging along the wall of our workshop. Pasithea's Garden loves Eucalyptus. #pasitheasgarden

And we think you will as well.
